The only tack shop inside the Washington, D.C. Beltway (U.S. 495) serving equestrians in Virginia, Maryland, and the greater D.C. area. The Loft specializes in hunter/jumper disciplines with an emphasis on style and quality.

The Washington Bridle Trails Association encourages interest in horses and horseback riding and develops and improves Washington’s bridle trails. For many years the organization acted as a spokesman for the horse lovers of Washington, representing local horse interests and encouraging a higher standard of care and treatment of area horses. Since its inception the association has sponsored horse shows several times a year in Rock Creek Park and has been an organization to which both experienced and novice riders may belong with equal benefit and enjoyment.

Interscholastic Equestrian Association was formed and organized to promote and improve the quality of equestrian competition and instruction available to middle and secondary school students. Its purpose is to set minimum standards for competition, provide information concerning the creation and development of school associated equestrian sport programs, and to generally promote the common interests of safe riding instruction and competition, and education on matters related to equestrian competition at the middle and secondary school levels.
